I do it to stop being just a fake, which in turn makes me a pseudo fake. People always knew me as the artist from whatever group I was in, but I was just an anime-copying-bastard who deserved no such praises.
I believe I'm finally the artist my high-school and college friends thought I was, and I'm happy for that.

But the real road is pursuing my true self. Not for others, no I don't so it for them. But I always told to myself I could do LoL splash arts and manga comic and videogame covers if I just spend a day working at it. Being a dunning Kruger for a decade... I want to be the artist I thought I was, then I'll rest in peace. Basically ego with extra steps.
