Are pure 2D drawing skills obsolete? Many professional concept artists and illustrators seem to use 3D models to create characters and landscapes or just straight up photobash. It makes sense though, because with the former you can quickly change perspective and models, while with the latter you crank out more concepts per day. Should one train 3D skills if he wants to make it?
