I wish I could get a sense on how to make appealing shading. Left is the best looking one for me, but it's not my style. I wouldn't know how to make the left myself, even if I wanted to mimic it...

i've been stuck for 2 years always drawing the same things... every time i try doing new things i give up , last year i filled up 1 drawing notebook leaving no blank space in one month ( i was mostly trying to learn how to draw a face from every angle) without any improvment i really consider quiting drawing but i can't i love it too much and an artist that i respect a lot told me that i had big potential to be an extremly good mangaka, i really want to improve what can i do to step out of my comfort zone ?
