I can read it. Bought the one about heads.

I've only read the first chapter so I can't give a real review but I really like it so far. He introduces a very practical (imo) construction model along with anime heads at the very start. With just those tools I've been able to drastically speed up my heads/reduce the amount of noodling with <10 hours of practice, and the heads look less bad than in the past. Later in the book he goes into the individual parts of the heads and it looks really powerful, at least at a glance. I think that somebody who has some drawing experience should be able to make out a lot simply by looking at the diagrams in the first chapter and drawing along.

Read some complaints that his anime designs look old-fashioned and I agree in some cases but it doesn't matter since you can easily use more modern proportions/eye shapes/nose abstractions if you should feel like it. The author is super good at drawing too so that makes it a fun read in its own right.
