Always struggled drawing heads/faces it's so fucking boring, i could spend hours drawing the body improving and enjoying every minute but I cannot for the life of me draw the head without getting frustrated

So tonight after watching youtube I learned about fitting into a general artstyle by pros getting art done vs "dear special snowflake, draw this with your own style" for tumblrinas.

But also I remembered reading about that in keys to drawing. Is there any more comprehend guide, chapter of another book or videos on that to learn more?

I'd like to expand my pencil "stroke" variety generally of all sort of rendering methods and so on. I hope this is the right place to ask.

I'm jealous of a couple of people but it's actually pretty motivating.
There's a couple shitty umblebraggers I know, gifted but fucking lazy and without ambitions. They've been stagnating for years. I want to surpass them and rub it in their faces.
It's very petty and definitely not the reason why I'm drawing, but it's added motivation.
