Am I being played like a goddamn fiddle? Why are some people like this?

There was a wholesome advert depicting a nuclear family with ideals that reflected western values from forty years ago, and because it caused a culture shock from the contrast between the subversive modern time adverts and an advertisement with a simple family you can even consider being kitsch you already see a number of fanart being churned out despite being but a couple days of being noticed. Why can't we have organic growth without having vultures swoop in to start bastardizing the original concept? Now I know how canonfags feel when someone who has never consumed a piece of original content start making knock off versions purely to seek and gain clout it's pathetic.
