I stopped drawing a month ago because I suck. The problem is I know I suck and I know I should suck this early in my artist life.

Any tips on sticking it up and working through it? I got to a point where no drawing the bean body correctly was infuriating. It looks so simple and easy yet I couldn't make it look good in my eyes.

>give up drawing
>get an actual job
>go back to college
>start working out again
>regain some semblance of self-esteem now that I'm not forcing myself to do something at which I suck for zero returns and seeing left and right people humiliate me with zero effort

How about you, /ic/? Still with the dreams?

Fuck drawing. I ain't got the time for this. I'm 22 and have been drawing seriously for only 3 years. No improvement to talk of. Both traditional and digital, I have gone nowhere.

I'll be middle-aged by the time I'm halfway good, and that's assuming I somehow end up learning how to practice correctly and start evolving.

Even a medical degree doesn't take this long. Why would anyone put themselves through this unless they started way earlier than me?

All of you who are like 20 and think you still have time: from my 5-year degree that gets me an actual job and security in my life, I'll be laughing at you, as you are outperformed by some 16-year old that started drawing when he was 5.

Have fun with your "dreams". I have seen the light and it is not here.
