how he could pursue art for 10 years and not draw from imagination at all? why he is doing it then? he's hollow unimaginitive shell which can do nice caricatures. it's not like he does not have imagination, eveyone have it. he tries to follow people and works he admires so hard he forgot who he is. so he became a photocopier.

fundamentals are important, but not as important as skill of drawing on your own
