Agreed. I still struggle very much with gesture. These took 5 to 10 minutes each but I'm getting better I think. At the very least in terms of proportions. Here are some gestures from a couple months ago.

I adore your line control. Please tell me your secret.
I always draw straight lines, ovals and floating boxes for at least 30 minutes as warm up every time I sit down to draw but don't see much improvement after doing it for a couple months now.
