i was a "gifted kid" growing up and i was never in my own grade as a kid so i drew a lot by myself. i ended up winning a few local art competitions and then i was gifted in something else

late middle school , i stopped going to school and drawing altogether cause i was depressed and rebellious. i ended up as a poor homeless teenager but i think i was a lot happier because i actually had friends

around a year ago, i started to draw again and i realized i really fucking sucked at drawing. i was just better than the average teenager naturally

been studying since then and i do it because i want to motivate some random person out there to pick up a pencil and start to draw, let that cycle continue i guess

Mixed. I have some friends I know for almost a decade, we're inseparable, but some abandoned me the instant I got called "problematic" for some mean tweets I completely forgot about. Friends I supported through the good and the ugly, who got called out themselves, dropped me like a sack of bricks. Thing is, artists value their clout and job prospects more than online friends. I'm not saying it's not worth it, but know you'll be easily heartbroken. Be wary of artists who are overly political or twitter obsessed.
Funny enough, those who never abandoned me were mostly ex-4channers/drawfags for /co/ or /v/, heavy Newgrounds users, and black dudes.

Male have it worse in regard to fake rape allegations and such, but petty callout culture (aka you posted something mean once or made a ""questionable"" drawing) is a lot more aggressive toward women. When I presented myself as male the worst I got is "you sexualize girls too much". Since I revealed to be a girl I had weirdos research my internet footprint going back a decade and documenting anything I did.
Woke culture is like a regressive religion, women have to be pure or they're thrown away.

Do you think traditional, physical art has more inherent value than digital art?
