If so, then dont think you should attend art center in my tbqh opinion.
Art center is for someone who wants an extremely narrow goal, like:
"I WANT TO DRAW SHOES"
"I WILL ONLY CREATE ADVERTISEMENTS"
"I WILL ONLY DRAW CAR STEERING WHEELS"
I mean they have illustration and "concept art" but that degree path can be found all over the place.

You dont NEED art center for illustration.
You do NEED art center for something along the lines of: "I WANT TO DRAW FURNITURE PROFESSIONALLY," however.

I havent looked into fzd in years at this point, but Im sure fzd would be better for what you want.
