Thanks for the feedback, this helped me a lot. I knew what I wanted to paint, but I hadn't heard of sss before now - looking it up helped me a lot.

Until now, I'd been sticking to an Oil-ish brush, although adjusting areas on and around the nose, along with underneath her scarf, became much easier, along with achieving the SSS-effect.

I feel far more satisfied with this study now, although advice and critique are still more than welcome. (I'm aware, that the hue and level of saturation are off all over, I'm unsure how to fix these "the easy way" though).
