i experienced a near death experienced that made me realize that i need to become an illustrator instead of an engineer.

i did draw on and off since i was a kid but i started seriously last year.

I want to make great illustrations for fantasy games

Is it possible to achieve something like pic with traditional oil painting? I don't like digital painting but I'm a huge weaboo so I'm not sure about what I should do.

Also does anyone know good books teaching traditional painting?
