What you people are too dense to understand, is that we're not quantifying how easy it is compared to nothing, but how easy it is compared to other professional art venues.

How retarded can you be not to realize 'serious' artists have to do exactly the same? But instead of pandering to mentally challenged 12 year old furfags with too much money to spend, they have to deal with business professionals and art directors scouting through hundreds of very high level competition.
Yes, it is 'easy' to pander to some random community of weird people with low standards. Making 5k with a serious illustration would take significantly more work not only with the pandering part, but also with the skill level of the actual work as well.
You could be a renowned Magic the Gathering illustrator for years and still never make 5k for a single illustration, let alone one that probably took 3 hours to fart out.
