I am trying to make squares A B C divide the sphere into eights. C doesn't seem to be orthogonal with the rest, can someone write over it with the correct axis so I can see where I went wrong?

You have to understand how the circles are warped by perspective. Try dividing the sphere into eights, using three orthogonal squares. This was my feeble attempt but you get the idea.
