i always end up in a desd end whenever I attempt to color. It always ends up as muddy piece of shit. Ive been told to do photostudies to learn how to color, but what if I cant even do photostudies? How exactly does one know that he's on the right track with regards to painting? It seems like unless I have the foresight of an experienced painter, I will always be painting 'blindly' , hoping it doesnt turn up as shit in the end. Im at my limit, Ive been returning to this for days now, convincing that I would be able to crack it. I already looked into blocking and I still cant do jack.
