Frame art / image edit / run large format printers at a small custom frame shop. Pay sucks, but I have access to whatever the fuck I need to reproduce prints of paintings / what ever the fuck I want up to 44in wide. Most people bring in junk, but I've seen and handled some pricey Hudson River School paintings and frames, along with far more impressive contemporary work. It's funny working with the junk people bring in then in the same hour, handle the kind of thing you see in museums. I get to talk about people's art and talk about my own paintings with people, which is generally pretty good. I like to be supportive of people who aren't terribly good at their medium, but It's funny when people talk themselves up and aren't that good. The job itself puts me in a good place to start painting every day and I can share my work with co-workers who are 25+ years older than I am with that much more experience in their respective mediums.

My other job is maintenance man. It's usually a dirty job, but I get to do most things alone and it pays better than the frame shop.
