Reason because I'm thinking of tackling a cool project that's been in my head for a long time with this -kind of- technique.

My question's about ink and scratchboards. I'm fascinated with that medium at the moment, pic related, and been filling my sketchbook with terrible pen sketches to experiment with it. I'm not sure how to take it to the next step though, does anyone know of any good tutorials for it? I'll be making a digital workflow for it but I want to keep it as close to how Doré and such would work as possible, no gradients or little cheats to make it faster.
