In Ilya's case, his plagiarism and lack of artistic talent is so well documented that it requires a lack of taste and logic to defend him now.
Similar to whiteknights defending their goddesses after they said something stupid, Ilya's followers do not adhere to logic. No matter how evident Ilya's scumminess is, they'll always resort to non-arguments like "you're just jealous", "ngmi", or "post your work".

He gets caught a lot for copying games/anime/movies already, at some point you've got to wonder just how much did he copy from fashion magazines. He puts "reference from magazine" in the description of a number of his posts, not even the magazine name or issue number, just "from magazine", so no one can compare his references to whatever he calls a painting.

Btw, pic-related is a "cafe sketch" he posted after he got caught, perhaps to prove everyone that he can actually draw. And guess what, it's copied straight from some Chinese cosplayer.
