Did two 15 minutes value sketches, thought the second reference was exactly right for practicing and decided to keep working on it. I'll try to work with images where shadows and highlights are big shapes.

I think I'm starting to get the hang of this. I might be abusing temporary layers but it feels like that's the only way to do things.
