just finished chapter 1 of keys to drawing, I struggle with shading....Most important thing I learned thus far? Outline what you want to draw, squint if it seems overwhelming to get a good shape and start with the most important part so you aren't too fatigue to finish. I did the opposite before hand, I usually just drew things bit by bit.
