It's a great book, but beginners are better off starting with Norling and/or Framed Perspective.

Starting perspective with Roberston!? oof. Good luck with that.
Norling's Perspective Made Easy was a breakthrough for me, I'd recommend that for beginners. After that Framed Perspective, and save Roberston for advanced perspective.

Is there any point in reading this book if I already know how to draw boxes in 3 point perspective? Im at 30th page and so far I haven't learned anything new.

Do Perspective Made Easy and then go though Peter Han's video courses for dynamic sketching. That should bring you up to not being totally out of your depth when learning from Hampton. Scott Robertson can come later when you feel even more competent with your 3d forms.

I'm going through perspective made easy right now and something is bugging me. Why do objects warp as the get closer to the vanishing points? This hasn't been explained and it's really bugging me.

So I was trying to git gud at drawing following a sequence of books from an Image I got from /fit/, but I lost the damn thing. It's a picture with multiple books lined up and instructions on the top. Does anyone have it? Thanks in advance /ic/

I'm going through Perspective Made Easy right now, and it might just be because I've studied perspective in the past, but I'm on chapter seven and the only new thing I've learned is how widely-spaced vanishing points in two-point perspective reduces warping. I'd imagine things will start to get more challenging very soon, but I'm having a hard time understanding how I'm supposed to implement any of this in a freehand drawing.

Also: the A4 copy paper I'm using to practise doesn't seem wide enough to avoid warping the perspective: I end up having to move the object closer to the eye level/ horizon line, because going too far down the page seems to skew things horribly.

tl;dr - help.
