First things first, we gained fluff as a developer, so things should be moving a bit more smoothly once he's up to speed.

We know you've been waiting a while, so I hope to placate your anticipation with this placeholder page tracking our progress.

Bear in mind this is not the actual final domain for the site (but this is ultimately where the application will live), the custom domain name is still in the process of resolving.

https://last-artist-standing.herokuapp.com/

When the site goes live, I'll post a link with the real domain name.

Thanks for being patient, lassos. Just a few days more.

How can you do gesture wrong? Genuinely curious I'm currently trying to up my gesture game.

In my opinion confident lines are not about how they look, it's about your mindset while doing it, you need to think about where you want to put the line before you actually put it, this will just make you a better artist in general, you'll learn more, your shit will look cleaner, it's all win win. Sure scribbling is sometimes good for exploring and for difficult poses and such, but it's just a bad habit, scribbling makes you more prone to not thinking while drawing, and it's hard to start doing clean lines all of a sudden if you always scribble, on the other hand if you always do clean lines, switching to scribbling is a no brainer.
Also nobody ever says "wow i love this guy's sketches! they are so dirty and unconfident!", think about it.

I get comments all the time, and I don't understand why.
I really don't deserve them. There are better artists who can make better use of their feedback. Its not like I'm not sincerely trying to put their tips into practice, it just feels like decent people are wasting their time on a braindead, awkward moron who will never amount to anything.

> Week 1er
> Didn't amount to anything
> Haven't drawn in longer than I'd care to admit
> Miss what I had months ago
> And now the original site is dead

Just know that I miss you.

I have updated the challenge with the fixed rules.
I sincerely apologize to anyone who has already gotten in contact with their individual, but I think this is important so that people can join without deliberately shifting around to get the person they want.

I don't know what to do, then. What would be fair?
If nobody else is really opposed to it, I can make an exception for this in particular if your two "partners" can confirm, in some way, that you are happy with your arrangement.

This is my first time making a challenge and I want to make sure that it's an enriching experience for everybody, or at the very least a fair one.

> every idea I have for the comic challenge is some combination of hopelessly cliche, out of my skill range to execute and straight-up boring
