There are too many challenges running at the moment that expect a lot of attention and research from the entrants. If I had the time I'd join your sport thing but I'm already starting to feel like I'm back in school doing homework, or in the industry doing concept art to hand off to 3d modellers without getting paid.

I think if you left the rules loose more people would be interested, instead of all these challenges with all these different view requirements/character sheets/etc. I'd rather have more leeway to interpret how I want to submit, and then if I really get into it I could put in more effort supplementing it with additional drawings.

Like for yours I'd just want to draw one big detailed shot of the sport in action and challenge myself to convey everything to the viewer through that image alone instead of coming at it from an art asset type of standpoint and doing characters, field, sport equipment, action sketches, etc. separately like you ask for. Even just marking stuff as optional or as suggestions in the rules would take the pressure off joining and open it up to people who aren't interested in what feels like concept art production pipeline experience.
