Fool. The best artists enjoy the process. It isn't masturbation, it's seeing your vision come to life before your eyes. Its touching another human's soul and trying to convey your emotions through expression. People who are in it for the money alone will struggle. They have to work to find motivation to draw. People who love it will sprint through fundy studies so they can apply it to what they love and improve far faster. They will improve far faster than retards who draw nothing but boxes, naked humans, and other studies without ever making a full finished piece because they dont feel "ready" until they've "mastered" every thing first. Constant practicing things that are not finished pieces, means no practice making polished works.

The only tiny grain of truth in your post is art will lead to no money so people should either be in it for the love of art so their work stands out, or find a job that is more rare that requires talent in art.
I've always loved making art and I work in a trade skill that requires art skills. I'm the top worker in my shop because I love art and I'm driven by seeing people smile. The first day I realised I used the art part of my brain to do the job I was overjoyed. Meanwhile I know a artist who draws commissions for a living and she gets no work. All she draws is naked women. Her note book is piled and piled of practice sketches of naked women. Customers can sense when something lacks passion or the spark of a soul and they will avoid you like they avoid her

I have no idea what to charge or how it works. I'm going to open up qcsubscribestar account once I get enough social media followers, but I pretty much just took screenshots of the top artists on there to see how pricing should work.
