Look man, do you want to reach the end goal of directing cogs, with the unfortunate sidetrack to your goal of being a cog for a while, or do you just want to 've a cog with no end goal being content that you will never be anything important in your life, fired after a year only to be a cog again?
I know what happens. You put yourself out there, hoping to get hired into an art job, and then you do, and that glory of just merely getting an art related job elated you for a few weeks, and then it's as tiring as any other job, but you don't ask for anything better, you don't care make comments on the thing your working on "uh Mr boss man, do you think maybe this would fit better or this would be more natural or interesting", and you only do what you're told, and just because you're as mediocre as the rest in your produce (not saying that's bad, but you're not adding anything besides what's necesaary), you eventually get fired when they move to the next project.
And then you repeat the same exact shit I. Your next job.
And then you think that's all an art career is.
And you get burnt out.
