I don't like how inking looks too clean compared to the messy sketches. Most appealing inking is Corto Maltese's artstyle which retains the free form of a sketch. Should I keep return to inking and see where that takes me?

Got no replies last thread, will try again. I have trouble finding my style, sould I just stick to messy pencil work or experiment with brush inking?
