you are overthinking the loomis or whatever was called the guy who did that, it supposed to be used just as way to keep the proportions in check not as a crutch, study each part separately until it doesnt come as shit then you use the loomis ball or whatever just to place each feature in the face you will eventually need less landmarks as you get better like japs who sometimes just use a fucking cross to denote the angle in which the face is facing lel
