Having ideas and thumbnailing.

So basically drawing like a 5yo with no concern for accuracy or even intelligibility.

Sketching is ok, linearting is a burden.
Putting flat colors sucks, choosing colors is a bit fun, shading is meh.

Painting (instead of flat-coloring) is also very fun, but in order to look good it requires a lot of underdrawing, so I don't do it much.

That's why you only recommend people who are less skilled than you.

If the customer is on a budget, he'll choose the "bad artist" and save you the trouble of working hard for peanuts. But if he isn't willing to let go of quality, he'll look at your recommendation's art and NOPE the fuck back into your arms.

I never get these threads.

I don't eat junk food, fap once a week at most, don't play videogames, do some light physical exercise every other day and I have all the problems listed here about not feeling motivation, being always distracted or whatever.

Whether it's genetic or a learned behavior, I don't think it really matters if you're eating bigmacs or not, you will find your own little ways of being miserable without the burger because that's what you've trained to do your entire life.

Yet you've been taking this approach for three years without any real change in your drawing skills. Nobody is telling you not to render your pictures. We're saying rendered turds are still turds. If you wanna make better art, get better at drawing not rendering.
