I'm new to social media and need advice.

As an artist on twitter, how much should I be retweeting others' art that I like? Do people actually look through my media tab to see stuff by me when they visit my page? I'd like to help signal boost, but fear I'll be buried under work that isn't mine.

What's a rule of thumb for retweeting my own work? Should I recycle old stuff when it's relevant again, or to introduce it to a new wave of followers? I see this often, but don't know the threshold for "spamming".
