if your tablet is small and or is sitting flat on table the only way how to grip stylus is tripod or its slight variations. only when you are drawing in trad on BIG / tilted canvas only then different grips start to make sense. google

the few art basements (ateliers) i saw all had BIG ASS table, 99 book shelves with art books and then 999 boxes and drawers full of art supplies. and if you are tradchad then its obvious you want some canvas holder for that En plein air painting. If you want to go digital then you just need comfy chair you can adjust so it fits under table and can rotate when life gets too unbearable
