You have to draw, evaluate it and ITERATE.

Draw from imagination. Now draw again, but see what happens if you change the shoulder angle. Now change the direction the head is facing. Now try longer thighs. Do you like it better or not?
Make notes. Analyze stuff that isn't realism - art that you enjoy and want to pursue. How does this artist draw this part that you are having trouble with? Copy it. Now next time you draw from imagination, try to remember what you copied and do the same.

Realism is important, but so is abstraction - even for realism.
If you don't see beyond construction and get into the APPEAL of art, you will never be able to judge if you're going in the right direction. It's the difference between a professional photographer and your aunt taking pictures of your birthday party. Both know how to use a camera, but one has learned to make things visually balanced.

Good news is: if you've been doing it this religiously for 10 years, you PROBABLY haven't just wasted all this time; you have honed your motor and observation skills, and as soon as you get a push in the right direction, you'll make gains faster than someone without that mileage. Like removing weights from your wrists after training with them for years.

It also means you have some degree of discipline, and correcting your mindset is way easier than fabricating motivation for the lazy.

I do think it's interesting to discuss some of these, though.
But instead of treating it like a condition, people should treat it like a different brain architecture and analyze the pros/cons, without all this self-help pity-party you're-not-alone mushy-gushy tone to it.

Making bank and making a living are different things, how come you are so flexible on interpreting one side of the argument but makes these retard generalizations on the other?

The answer is:
"Make it" somewhere else first, probably by doing illustrations and not comics, then start doing comics for your already established public and use these websites merely as an easy way for new people to catch up instead of trying to dive your Twitter mess for all the pages.
