Back at it again tried to replicate Matt Kohr
one on the left, he did it with soft round brush i think, mine on the right with hard round brush, it's still so hard to control so many values in such a small space.
Also i set the brush on 20% spacing to give it some natural feeling i guess? i don't like his it looks too digital and plastic.
