whenever I draw something where it's super zoomed in and go out of my way to hide hands I can almost convince myself Im okay

any advice for grinding hands or a book on the subject? as it stands I cant draw a hand for shit unless I find a reference which looks exactly like the hand I want to draw and at that point Im just copying.
