daydream im drawing with a art bf/gf.
getting pumped up by the music im listening to and getting a mild case of the human equivalent of the zoomies.

So my friends went to this art colony to this place https://www.orbishotel.rs/en-us?utm_source=gmb and they are getting bullied and they are forced to paint some cheesy shit they dont want to. If I am correct they plan to use the colony just so they can get good paintings for a small fee. They cant leave the place. What to do? Anyone else had a similar exp?

Ive always seemed to have e very good understanding of psychology and how the human mind works, and im always talking people through thier issues. I think im pretty decent at art, and i could make it if i really busted my ass; but this could be another option and i was wondering if anyone here has ever tried it.

Wanted to do art all my life. Was gonna become a digital artist and draw for vidya. 17 and suddenly doing art is boring and I hate it. I feel trapped.

I wanna start doing some oil painting and am after some advice.

Is there anything I need to know about buying a canvas? I assume the store bought ones don't require any kind of additional preparation before painting on them? I've heard some canvases can cause dried paint to crack due to movement.

And what about after a painting is finished, are you supposed to coat it with varnish, or something else to protect the paint after it dries?
