>Yeah, that one, and the crayon brush. But I know I need to expand to more professional software to be more productive, and to circumvent mspaint's shortcomings, which tricks like the specific-color-eraser and other things can only help with so much, you know?

So I was definitely thinking like you in around 2015 and 2016. I remember I tried going to Corel Painter to use the pencil brushes that had a tilt to them to make it feel like I'm shading with a real pencil. It helped BUT corel has these shit bugs where the brush decides to go transgender in size and the canvas makes these streaks that I can't get rid of no matter how much I zoom in and out. I don't know how the latest version is but I tried buying an older version and it was even worse.

I think the reason for me using mspaint at the time was that it allowed me to think of big shape and no matter how the shape turned out I could make something out of it. There was no plan to put it short. So because there was no plan I felt no responsibility to learn about controlling pen pressure or advancing to learn how to paint.
