He's an absolute monster, I'm still several years from getting to this level. And that's kinda the thing of it, it takes time to get really good at this. A lot of these guys have been working professionally for over a decade, all the while consciously focusing on improving their skills over the years. Whereas, by comparison, I'm still a fledgeling with a barely a year of experience under my belt, and not even doing it full time atm. That said, you've also got anomalies like Murata, where like, you read some of those early Eyeshield 21 chapters, thinking "Oh I'm sure I could measure up to how he was when he started" and you realize that no, dude was god tier right from the start.

That's why you should ultimately focus on your own growth. Look at how you've improved personally, and how things that used to be really tough for you, are now super easy. All the while having a clear goal in mind of wher you wanna get to. For me, my goalposts are mangaka like Murata, Oh Great, Toriyama, and so on...

As far as it stands, I like to think that I'm good enough to be professionally published in Japan by a large publisher, which is my goal. I'll leave that to a Shueisha editor to decide when I go present at the end of this year though. Like I said, art is only one of the 3 pillars.

Btw, these pages are old (from last year), they've just been retouched up in some areas.
