Well, for starters take a look at the real guy's pinky. If you trace down a line from his pinky, you'll see it ends at a little beyond the middle of his elbow.
In the future, try comparing parts of the body in the picture to get the proportions right.
And if I see correctly, on the real picture the legs are pretty much coming from the pits/pecs, and the stomach is barely visible. This might be hard to see due to his clothes, but yeah I think you can only see the pecs, all of that orange clothing is actually covering his groin and hips.

Screw it I'll just do a sketch of it.

Well outside of looking harder at the picture to measure, what comic artists actually do is heavily exaggerate gesture. I'm talking about those motion lines I put in the drawing, you can better see it on the left leg. The twists aren't that strong on the real picture, but in a comic you do them like that, heavy exaggeration is interesting.
But the most important lesson is that you should study some anatomy. I don't mean biology books, but if your goal is making cool comic characters, you need to have a solid base.

Take a look at these

There's plenty more tutorials on drawing anatomy if you look for it, cheeers!
