Help me /g/.

Day after day, I live in constant fear of having to replace my machine. Every single week there's a new batch of intel vulnerabilities. However, everytime I ask around, Ryzens get hot, Ryzens get loud, Ryzens have latency issues. Intel processors are retarded, expensive and vulnerable. What the fuck do I do? There's mad shilling, but from both sides. I have a shitty processor, but this processor doesn't get above 55C on full load. this machine stinks, but I'm afraid of what's next if I fall for -any- meme. If I suddenly get told "hey look, it's all exaggerated, just buy this new intel processor goyim" or "please sir do the needful, buy new Ryzen 4 series, crazy fast". I feel like even if my system is sluggish, I don't want it to just up and die. I don't want latency autism. I don't want to bother with a new patch that makes shit slower. I just want something that -works-. Not Apple though, that's not what I mean.

L3 cache pool
Faster infinity fabric
Better IPC on 7nm
Agressive binning
IO on IO die not compute die
The last one is a big deal. Separate IO die solves alot of problems.

Ryzen 2000 doesn't get hot and doesn't have boost issues or hardware bugs
Buy a 2700x if you're fine with lower single threaded performance

Why bother testing a defective product? Any benchmark you show will just be invalidated a week later by a security flaw.

>So it's the Ryzen 3 series that are getting hot?
Yes. Ryzen 3000 packs the same TDP into an area 1/2 the size of ryzen 2000 which makes it very thermally dense.
>Because I'd gladly go with something weaker, just stable
Currently, Ryzen 2000 is a very stable platform. Ryzen 3000 have also matured quite a bit since launch but thermal issues are an inherent property and cannot be fixed.

Also, latency issues are mostly overblown. All modern chips can game just fine at 60 fps. General use is the same across all chips and you'd be hard pressed to find a difference.
