>R5 2600/X - Good gaming & multithreaded work use CPUs

>RTX 2000 cards are worse performance per $ than current GPUs. Just a marketing gimmick to rip off idiots
>Avoid cheap MODELS ie MSI Armor (Mk2 is ok), Gigabyte G1/Wf, ASUS dual, and others which have small heatsinks and low quality fans
>RX 570/580 /w Freesync or 1060 6GB are standard 1080p 60fps+ options

OpenCL work
>Vega 64

>Backup before using StoreMi
>Consider getting a larger SSD (better GB/$) instead of small SSD & large HDD
>2TB HDDs are barely more $ than 1TB
>M.2 is a form factor, NOT a performance standard
>NVMe are not for gaming; See "More"

>Consider 75hz minimum; 60hz are mostly old models.
>Always consider FreeSync with AMD cards

Bros, I want a system for audio engineering and occasional games. The games I usually spend the most time are heavily modded morrowind (it's heavy on graphics, because not optimized very well) and maybe Football Manager or Soulshit.

Here's a prospective build I'm thinking:

I never built a machine myself, and I am afraid of assembling it myself and screwing up, because of airflow and assembling the liquid cooling correctly. Because of this, I'm thinking about ordering it at a local shop that seems dedicated to assembling custom machines, they did my old one but that one I had no idea and they basically chose the parts for me (I was 17, 8 years ago). I am in the EU, Portugal, btw.

I also want to include the HDD from my old desktop (fried motherboard) as well as a texas instruments firewire card I have mounted there (to connect my present audio interface). I think I could mount these two by myself. In one year I will be buying a new thunderbolt audio interface, but for now I still need that card.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Is that with the GPU installed while you were fucking around, or without it?

My guess is either the ram is going, the power supply may not be up to running it with the gpu, or maybe the gpu is going bad.

If you had the gpu in while it was starting to work and have another system, try your GPU in the other system and see if these issues pop back up. Also try running it with 1 dimm and see how stable it is. I don't think it's ram because that normally blue screens but worth a shot.

The 2400g is fairly better on every points. Yes while it make more sense to buy the 2600 for a little more you'll have to add at least a 80U$D for a 1030/550. Or 120 for a 1050/560.

I heard one should leave ~10% of SSD space as a sacrifice for the god of computer hardware (not really lulz) but is that still relevant? And what does it mean, e.g. should I preserve that space when creating partitions or just prevent my files from swallowing all available space?

And second q: is it safe to have pagefile on SSD since they are sensitive to re-writes (many say in reality this garbage is gone and even do I rewrite the whole disk all day it'll still be among the least things to die among other hardware)

All in all should I have any extra caution or just use it as a regular hard drive?
