>> No.66173780

It's winter and my nvidia barely heats up the place enough.

>> No.66173865

>> No.66173893

Central AC. My room is 21C while it’s 35C outside.

>it's fucking 5.2c outside
>it's fucking 12c out in the hallway
>it's fucking 20c in here

>> No.66173904

God bless window units, it's 95 outside here in Florida, but a chilly 66 inside, even with a 1050ti inside a badly cooled case.

>> No.66173917

I have air conditioning because I don't live in a third world dump.

(non fan inputs removed)

Need motivation to play something so my 290X will heat the room.

>> No.66173981

I hate fan noise, so my poor mistreated core2duo PC that I've been using since 2007 is configured so that the fan doesn't spin unless the CPU temperature goes above 45 degrees. Most of the time it idles at around 42. It's even overclocked from 2.3 to 2.8GHz. It's been surviving like this since 2010. I wonder if it will eventually break down.

>tfw had to replace my mobo at a bad time
>went from a toasty 8320 to a chill ryzen3... at the beginning of winter
this pos doesn't even warm up encoding video, what do?

>> No.66174011

so it spins up and down every five second when it hits 45 degrees?

>> No.66174073

Wait until Aldi is selling the sleeping bad onesies again.
Or crank up the heater and eat the electricity bill.

>> No.66174109

Its not money issue, well big electricity bill an be annoying but i get sick easily under ac... Only during summer zand only under ac or fan... i've never bpgotten sick in winter in my life

>> No.66174155

Go outside you pasty fag

>> No.66175163

it feels as if my skin wants to rip itself off my body just to cool me down.

>> No.66175731

you know what i don't fucking get?

you go to any "developed" country and people sit in the heat all summer

you go to any developing country and every fucking room is climate controlled.

"pah, you don't NEED air conditioning, it's just a bit of heat, just man up, you millennials are so weak. think about how much it would cost to run an air conditioner all day, it's too expensive!"

but then in fucking Vietnam or Thailand everybody has air-conditioning and uses it to stay comfortable all day

I can't read

>> No.66176874

I have a 970 that doesnt go over 70c and an i5 8400 that doesnt go over 60c because i live in florida

>> No.66177080

i personally when its damn hot here in Mexico which is most of the time fucking 40c ambient temps, i undervolt and underclock both my CPU and GPU.

>> No.66177953

my nigga
underclock master race
i dont even miss those 20% of fraymez when it means no fan noise

>> No.66178046

It's not the heat, it's the humidity
I could probably tolerate a constant 30C if it was at very low humidity

>> No.66178151

Hehe 20% sounds like too much, i have my i7 6700k underclocked to 3.5ghz and i barely notice FPS drops in all my games, like it to be silent tho.
