Just because you deny reality doesn't mean it's not true. Intel will always be diseased trash.

Thank you OP, I was feeling down this morning because my car broke down from a failed timing belt but now I'm in good spirits.

Even if he got an NVME one all the security mitigations would bring it back down to SATA speed/performance anyway.

How many security vulnerabilities does intel have again? I've honestly lost count.

I know there's 10+ variants of spectre, 10+ variants of meltdown, RIDL, Fallout, Zombieload, MDS, Netcat. But that's about it. Also the spectre and meltdown security mitigations alone slice SSD performance in half, correct?

I'm legit serious desu. I mean if spectre and meltdown patches alone do pic related what happens when you fully enable and apply all 40+ required for the most bare minimum security possible?

Does anyone have any benchmarks of the performance hit enabling all 30+ security mitigations has on an intel processor like an i5-9400F in OPs pic?

I already know SSD performance is sliced in half from spectre and meltdown patches alone but what about MDS, zombieload, RIDL, Fallout, and all the other new side-channel attacks?

Asking because I'm seriously considering an i5-9400F or a 3600X (mainly for the beefier cooler) for my next build.

What about the 30+ bios/windows security mitigations that you're required to enable on intel processors for the BARE MINIMUM security? AFAIK version 1 of spectre and meltdown literally slice SSD performance in half. What happens when you fully enable all 30+ security mitigations? pic related

Not trying to troll btw, gonna do a new pc build soon, my A10 kaveri APU is pretty long in the tooth and am considering an i3-9100F or R5 1600 for my next CPU.
