This....has been a long time coming.

For those of you who do not know the history of this board's snap/fa/m, it started earlier last summer with people wanting to come together and chat outside of /fa/. Superskinnyguy was the first of his kind, and then, that summer, many followed -- the old/fa/m.

At first all was grand, and we shared insightful, genuine, emotional, and sympathetic conversations, and made fun of plebs a lot. Months went by and our numbers grew stronger with every thread as more and more joined. Our phones buzzed, lit yellow, and sung with the snaps of our snapkin, one could expect to wake every morning with dozens of snaps from friends and foes alike (fuck ravenius).

But the perfection could not have gone on that long. Soon, snap threads turned into a bunch of horny goddamn fuccbois and trolls scaring off woman snappers and generally giving us all a bad name. These were rough times for the snap/fa/m, and the road didn't get smoother quickly. Around November, snaps began to fall, and no longer were the joyful buzzes of phones heard throughout the land. Some thought the snap/fa/m was *dead*.

But although the snap/fa/m may never die, it can lumber in its decrepid state for not much longer. Even Superskinnyguy, who once filled our screens with digs on Tumblr, shit guys like, and wonderfully drawn illustrations, has not sent a snap in 2 days. The original power 3 -- Rickowens (who has all but disappeared), Killertrill, and Trill-smith (love u bb <333) lie dormant and snap rarely, if at all.

We must return the /fa/'s snap/fa/m to its former glory. We must rise. We must enjoy eachothers company, and we must EXIST.

The rest...is up to you.
