ive lived queen/ossington for a bit over a yr now
apparently hipster/trendy area. you would probably like it/its the most effay area hands down cause of:
- cafes (crafted, sam james, jimmy's)
- restaurants
- bars (apt 200, beaconsfield, drake hotel)
lot of overpriced trendy (stussy, fred perry) and small boutique shops and more commerical stuff (anthropologie/UO/AA etc closer to spadina)

i personally prefer the king w (king/portland and bathurst) for the clubs/older crowd or livability
yorkville is an older crowd too but kinda too old. good restos (sotto sotto, kasa moto) and i like amber and the 4 seasons lounge isnt bad either

but TO is def no nyc/paris/london
even LA at least has the scenic aspect to it

toronto is expensive (apparenlty not as bad as BC- cant say, never been) and u dont get your moneys worth imo
that being said im 23 and dont have a ton of disposable income but im definitely blessed in terms of lifestlye etc
the rich here arent very rich tho..ie: a lot more wealthy young european guys who have money to spend vs here

i normally copy pics from online (i love megan fox's/angelina jolie) and tweeze very carefully (less is more)..dont trust salons cause mine are already kinda thin and im really scared they'll over-do it.

most of my friends just get it waxed from a professional (really cheap..at most $20..go on yelp/google)..you can just tweeze their pattern afterwards

you can also buy stencils online

you need more of an arch..need to tweeze in the middle and the bottom towards the temple for sure..you should just ask someone

also brow gel is awesome..the ones in the wand/tubes..nars is good but the drugstore ones are just are good at half the price

i got botox brow lift in feb to create more of an arch/relieve ptsosis of eyelid..thats prob too extreme for u tho aha

a lot of guys usually cant tell w/ makeup..and i feel like a lot of girls only do makeup when theyre going out/to impress guys..not that its a good thing but yeah..if i point out brows to a guy/friends who dont wear makuep they would have no clue

- foundation or bb cream (in pic wearing mischa BB cream..casual night out)
- undereye concealer..and put a tiny bit on cheeks if needed (scars slowly healing..i think..hate retinoids)
- eyeliner (smudged on lid) and bit of silver in corner
- mascara or just curl lashes if i dont want to wait for mascara to dry
- lip gloss (stopped wearing lipstick..looks too 'done')
- blush..i need to stop carrying it around..i always end up applying way more than i need as the night goes on

i really dont like drawn in brows..maybe cause im a girl and i can tell when its pencilled in but only rarely do i think it looks good
also im lazy and would rather let them grow/shape with gel than risk drawing them in and looking dumb
