literally every single second hand store has piles of them. hunt for a while until you find a good pair, quality differs a lot

oh shit, sorry, i'm a bit high, hehe.

I thought you meant the actual sock-socks! I'm probably going to get the leather socks, they're pretty much perfect.

I would have a hard time justifying socks that expensive, at least at the moment. They are really fuggin cool though, if you've got the cash to throw around I'd say cop away.

I don't agree with the weightloss-comments, but i'd opt for some wider, cropped trousers instead, at least with those shoes.

I have to shave like 1-2 times a day and recently bought a safety razor (merkur, solid construction, the handle doesn't get especially slippery when wet so you don't risk chopping your chin off by mistake, bonus points for a sweet industrial look) and I'm hooked tbh. Cartridges and disposable razors are basically as effective as trying to shave with a cheese grater for me.

What really surprised me however, was how much shaving foam you save when you use a brush to apply it. I'd always have to reapply it 4-6 times when doing it the "normal" way, but with a brush a tiny amount easily lathers up over and over again, so I thoroughly recommend you get one of those.

Plus the whole ritual of shaving is a much nicer experience like this.

So yeah, go for it. You'll earn back the money invested fast, cartridges are expensive as shit.

I've been wearing my white geobaskets unlaced and tucked in my trou A LOT recently and it's got me fiending for island dunks. Originally I wasn't too sold on them, but they grew on me!!

Next rick footwear will be some kind of boot or, if I find a pair, turbo wedge heels.

I haven't got them laying around right now, but I've heard some things about a new shoe last for Rick footwear and something about them being more TTS now?

/fa/scist, mifune, got any input?

I'm a 42 in most shoes and I believe I bought my Cargobaskets in either 41.5 or 42. I could check a couple of different shoes I wear and compare sizes, but right now I'm visiting my parents for a couple if days and haven't got any shoes here.

(what the fuck is this captcha holy shit)

no, not really, i totally understand that. i'm just replying to that specific post.

personally dislike this collection, acne menswear is always pretty damn bland and boring and this doesn't do shit for me. the scarves are boring and gimicky, too.

i'm not even going to begin discussing anything said in this thread except this, but acne has always been a go to brand for insecure heterosexual people, even when they only did jeans, what, a decade ago? Mid-2000s Acne deserved a lot of critique for plagiarizing unknown, non-western designers (a specific suede jacket comes to mind, which was a direct ripoff of some mexican designer's) and only in 2010 (or 09, dont remember) did they release their first solid collection.

Quality since then has had ups and downs, with some really good pieces and some really bad pieces and a noticeable difference in construction quality with regards to their jeans between 2011 and 2012.
sage
My point is, straight boys wanting to "be fashionable but not gay!!!" has had Acne as their go to skinny jean for like a decade.

a lot of people working for a label might "scout" some people that look interesting, without actually being hired as a model scout. it's not too rare, a friend of mine looks like a goddamn vampire with a super cool birthmark over his face and he's been approached about walking for specific brands without being signed to an agency tonnes of times.

>> No.9376297 [View]

>>9376278

To further make a point - you're being overly paranoid. This is like you would refuse to play football because Ronaldo could use his fame to publish a book and make it a best-seller. You're not going ti become a super-model, especially not against your will.

>> No.9376278 [View]

You're not going to become "famous" to the general public as a model, so don't worry about losing credibility. Hell, if anything you could add to the whole "I'm poor and doing whatever I can do afford perfecting my craft"-thing and make some cool contacts.

There won't be anything to come back and bite you in the ass, no. Most likely it won't have any effect on your work as a writer, aside from possibly meeting some cool people.

Do it if you want to is what it comes down to.
