there's plenty of ways to lose weight, the simplest of which (and the basis for every other method) is a caloric deficit, around 500cal is what's usually recommended. calculate and understand your TDEE, BMR, and BMI. set a caloric deficit and track your food with myfitnesspal until you get the hang of things. eat clean and healthy.

there's also more hardcore stuff like Intermittent Fasting, keto, PSMF, etc. if you want to look into them but I would NOT recommend them to a beginner.
