Hey man. My hair is similar but slightly less curly. This is what worked for me.

Work some black castor oil through your hair when its still wet from the shower, and pat-dry. You have curly hair so embrace that, get some moisture in it to form ringlets. Try not to touch your hair or break/separate the rings.

Its nice if you grow your hair out and do this also. You have great hair, just gotta figure out what it wants. Trust me!

the replacement laces that came with the CP's. They look like they've been rolled in black dye, maybe get some cotton kiwi laces and use some black melatonin on them.

The Aitor sculptures were made from a cotton mesh impregnated with a polyurethane adhesive and spray painted black. They were put on a human form while the adhesive was wet and dried with a blow dryer, done in separate panels and then fixed together with black twist ties.

So pretty much just cotton mesh and glue. Be sure to post what you come up with!

You could probably get a used pair on eBay or stylezeitgeist. As long as the soles have been vibramed and there is no cracking in the leather you should be OK. Just take them to a cobbler to be cleaned

Guidi does different shafts. The slim shafts look GREAT under a skin jean or trouser, and my personal favorite way to wear them. Really not into tucking the pant. I think the slim shafts are the 988s model
