I agree that Australia is culturally dying/dead but that doesn't necessarily mean everyone here is too. Did you live in Sydney or have your heartbroken by someone from Sydney? I don't live in Sydney though. Don't even live in NSW. A lot of nice areas up that way, a lot warmer than fucking Tassie or Vic. I understand that culturally Australia and the US are vastly different but there's a lot of crossover, too, especially now with TikTok and other social media garbage proliferating different styles, fashions, and trends to the generations that live on them. So, while the attitudes of Aussie women between the ages of 18-30 may be different to Americans in the same age range, I think aesthetically there's definitely going to be some crossover.

Basically what >>13430630 said. Wearing a suit every day unless you're actually required to wear one for a job is try hard/corporate LARP territory. However, wearing a tailored blazer or sport coat on the weekends when going out for dinner or to a bar is perfectly acceptable and probably a thriftier way of achieving a similar aesthetic. Especially during autumn or a mild winter.
