OP they're the best white sneaker of the style, I personally prefer the acne adrians now (though I didn't when I purchased my CP's a few years ago) - they've got a bit more personality to them.

I'd definitely suggest a pair of CP's if you're getting into fashion, they go with most fits, so you don't need to build a wardrobe around them, and they aren't loud so you won't feel self-conscious wearing them as you probably will with a bolder shoe like rick/raf/etc.
