Intermittent Fasting to drop your water weight you accumulated from the previous day.

Basically just don't eat anything for 1-2 hours upon waking up in the morning.

Ice/Cold Water is all just movie bullshit and the extreme temperature change can irritate your skin.

Do not limit your water intake. Sodium is what causes you to hold in water, not water itself. If you want to limit something in your diet, then choose to limit your sodium consumption, not water.

I have been working on an Acne/Scar Treatment write up for the sticky. This is a small sample of what I have so far...

Microneedling/ Dermaroller

>"Use good quality instruments—there are many instruments from different companies; using poor instruments may lead to breakage of needles in the skin."

Silicone Sheets/ Tape

>http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21844480

Jessner/ Chemical Peels
>http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3560163/

Azelic Acid
>http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21637899

Bio-Oil/ Pink Snake Oil
>http://bio-oilusa.com/en-us/product/ingredients
>Every other ingredient in Bio-Oil is either a comedogenic or an irritant and can cause- Occlusive Folliculitis, Irritation, Allergic Contact Dermatitis, Photo Contact Dermatitis, and Contact Urticaria. (ie every probable adverse side affect you can get from a moisturizer ingredient besides sweat retention)
>Just buy pure mineral oil instead if you are looking for something to keep your scars moisturized

Laser Treatment
>Not much to post here... Guaranteed scar treatment, no matter what laser is used.

Diet
>http://europepmc.org/abstract/MED/21916275
>This sums up very well all that we currently know about the correlation between diet and acne. There are many theories of sugary, high carb diets and high dairy diets causing acne, but no one has tested these theories to come to a conclusion yet.

If you are only getting acne in a specific location, then it is from irritation.

The first thing hat comes to mind for under your lip is toothpaste-related irritation. Be careful with your brushing and make sure you are keeping your chin clean and applying products as you normally would.

It is mostly water weight.
You are basically doing intermittent fasting without a refeed in the morning. You should definitely be getting leaner.

There is no perfect multivitamin. Most like to overdose vitamin c, underdose zinc, selenium.. the list goes on. But a good multi for someone who can't be bothered to buy the vitamins individually and take a handful of pills regularly (ie most people) this is a good compromise:

And it is interesting that you would mention your mood, since that is the first thing people notice improve once they start taking these multivitamins.

As of now, the only diet related cause of acne is from vitamin deficiencies(common) and allergic reactions to certain foods(rare). Just make sure you are taking a multivitamin, getting your water, and supplementing 50mg of zinc daily/ as needed.
And don't force yourself to eat foods you don't like...

That should cover everything I believe (besides the basics),... do note that just about all of these products can be used simultaneously on a regular basis. (note: regular, not daily. Some treatments, like laser and chemical treatments, can not be used as frequently as say, silicone tape or microneedling)

This chart is a good reference for water intake.

>look into both
Here I will help you with that.
Your skins 'barrier' has a Ph of 5.5
Vinegars are significantly lower
Baking soda/corn starch is significantly higher
Both are comedogenic
Both ruin the epidermis barrier and will cause the skin to produce excess oils in an attempt to heal itself. It will also leave your skin susceptible to pathogens until it has returned to its natural state.

>>8375994
This is not true. Please do not get your skincare routine from a silly meme movie.

>>8376005
Ph of 8-10 and contains skin irritants. Please do not do this.

Just keep your face and diet clean. Spot treat with any acne products if you have them. And cycle as much of what is in this pic as you can if you still feel you need a boost. Zinc deficiencies are no joke.

That's disappointing. I really enjoyed the many shades of blue... I would not want to spend over $80 for a fountain pen. Design wise, something simple is preferred.

The darkness of your skin/amount of melanin in your skin determines how resistant your skin is to solar radiation.

Although Tee Tree Oil does have some science behind it..

> A 2012 review by the NIH rates Tea tree oil as "possibly effective" for three applications, saying that "a 5% tea tree oil gel appears to be as effective as 5% benzoyl peroxide" for treating mild to moderate acne...

I do not believe soap is the best way for it to be administered

>A 2006 review of the toxicity of tea tree oil concludes that it may be used externally in its diluted form by the majority of individuals without adverse effect (provided oxidization is avoided).

>Exposure of tea tree oil to air and light results in oxidation of some of its components. Oxidized tea tree oil should not be used. Some people experience allergic contact dermatitis as a reaction to dermal contact with tea tree oil. Allergic reactions may be due to the various oxidation products that are formed by exposure of the oil to light and/or air.

OP, your skin creates excess oil as a mechanism to try and moisturize/heal dry skin. Make sure all your products are Ph balanced and that you are not using anything that could dry out the skin or damage the epidermis barrier by not matching your skins Ph. Sweating should not be causing your face to become oily. Just use a good moisturizer when needed so your skin doesn't have to produce any excess oils.

RDA from who? I can't even buy Zinc in any dosages smaller than 50mg.

Not to mention Zinc is water soluble mineral and has scientific research of it being dosed at up to 150mg with no complications.

>>8252451
Use sources like Google Scholar, medical research papers, Wikipedia, ect. to cross check this information if you want. But the entire point of me writing that up was so you didn't have to do the research.

This routine should not be supplementing general skin care. You should be using a mild, Ph balanced face wash and moisturizer in the morning and at night. If you have to do this again after your job it wouldn't be hurting anything. I would recommend Cetaphil.
If you aren't using an exfoliant, I would recommend one to you to help you clean out your pores from dirt and whatever from your job. I would suggest getting some for of mechanical exfoliant and Clinique Scruffing Lotion for chemical exfoliation. Switch between the two and use when needed.

Doing all these things together with the Acne Treatment Cycle will help to clear your face, not one or the other.
